IIM Bangalore Placements 2025: More than 650 Offers Handed Out, Consulting Dominates Hiring

Bangalore: Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) concluded lateral and final placements for the PGP and PGPBA Batch of 2023-25 successfully, and all 595 students were placed in 176 firms. Over 650 offers were received by the batch, as per IIM Bangalore, which is yet another robust placement season for the institute.

Management consulting became the most sought-after career, with 41% of the total offers. Technology and product management, followed by investment banking, came a close second, indicating the variegated career goals of the graduating students.

Top recruiters were Accenture Strategy (75 offers), Boston Consulting Group (25), TCS Management Consulting (24), American Express (20), Bain & Company (17), PwC (16), and McKinsey & Company (14). The dominance of leading consulting firms attested to the stature of IIM Bangalore as a premier management talent pool.

Apart from consulting, many core industries recruited from IIM Bangalore actively, such as FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, Conglomerates, Fintech, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. All of these companies recruited candidates for positions ranging from strategy to finance, marketing, general management, product management, operations, and analytics.
