‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage’ Confirmed – Producer Announces Allu Arjun’s Film Schedule

Hyderabad: The fans of the Pushpa series have something to cheer about as producer Ravi Shankar has officially announced that ‘Pushpa 3: The Rampage’ is in production. The much-awaited third part will apparently release earlier than anticipated, with the team targeting a 2028 release.

Allu Arjun’s Film Commitments Before ‘Pushpa 3’

At a recent media interaction for his new movie ‘Robinhood‘, Ravi Shankar gave an update on Allu Arjun’s next projects and when he will start working on Pushpa 3.

“‘Pushpa 3’ is on for sure. But Allu Arjun is already signed up for two big projects—one with director Atlee Kumar and another one with Trivikram Srinivas. He will begin working on Pushpa 3 only after finishing these movies, which will take a minimum of two years,” Shankar disclosed.

Why ‘Pushpa 3’ Won’t Face Delays Like Its Predecessor

The director accepted that ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule‘ was delayed for many reasons. But he promised fans that Pushpa 3 will not be delayed.

“We won’t delay things like before. Hopefully, we will come back quickly in three years, aiming for a 2028 release,” he added.

This is the first official word on Pushpa 3 from the production unit. Although the third installment had been teased during the end credits of ‘Pushpa 2‘, no updates had been made until now.

Director Sukumar’s Schedule and ‘Pushpa 3’ Development

While that is happening, Pushpa franchise director Sukumar has begun work on his next film with Telugu megastar Ram Charan. According to sources, Sukumar will take a minimum of two years to do this one before he will focus once more on the Pushpa universe.

‘Pushpa 2’ Shattered Box Office Records

Since its release in December last year, Pushpa 2: The Rule became the highest-grossing Indian film ever at the domestic box office. The Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil starrer collected a whopping ₹1,234.1 crore nett in India and ₹1,742.1 crore globally.

With Pushpa 3 now officially on the cards, fans can look forward to another action-packed installment in Allu Arjun’s blockbuster series.
