Gaurav Khanna Wins Celebrity MasterChef, Nikki Tamboli Takes Second Place as First Runner-Up
The culinary battle was expertly judged by renowned chefs Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar
New Delhi: Actor Gaurav Khanna has emerged India’s first-ever Celebrity MasterChef, winning not only the gold trophy that everybody had coveted to take home but also more than ₹20 lakh in cash as well as the revered chef’s coat. This was announced on Instagram by Sony Entertainment Television and demonstrated how Khanna had worked his way up from TV screen to MasterChef title: “From TV screen to MasterChef title, Gaurav Khanna has done it all!”
Taking the first runner-up spot was Nikki Tamboli, and second runner-up was Tejasswi Prakash.
The cooking battle was a treat for the senses, judged by renowned chefs Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar. Adding to the thrill of the grand finale was a guest appearance by the legendary chef Sanjeev Kapoor, who added his years of experience and culinary expertise to the competition.
The emotional peak of the finale came when the renowned judges commended Gaurav’s last dish. With a loving gesture, Farah, Sanjeev Kapoor, and Ranveer Brar hugged him affectionately for his perseverance and efforts during the competition. Gaurav received motivational words from Sanjeev Kapoor: “Ab tak shayad emotions se bhag kar yahan tak pahuche ho.Aaj se zindagi shuru karo, emotions se jud ke, reminds him to embrace his emotions starting from then onwards.
The celebrity cooking show had a star-studded lineup of contestants, some of the most well-known names like Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Abhijeet Sawant, Rajiv Adatia, Faisal Shaikh, and Usha Nadkarni, among others. The contestants displayed their cooking skills, creativity, and passion for cooking with every challenge, so this season of Celebrity MasterChef was one to remember for viewers and contestants alike.
