GRID Recruitment 2025: Executive Trainees Notification Published
The GRID Controller of India has formally released the recruitment advertisement for Executive Trainees with an aim to provide appointments against 47 vacancies. Registration is scheduled to start from April 1, 2025.Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by visiting the official website, posoco.in.
The notification strongly advises applying much in advance of the deadline. The applicants should see to it that their online applications are submitted by the cutoff time of 23:45 hours on April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), so that last-minute traffic on the server can be avoided.
Eligibility Criteria
For eligibility to the posts of Executive Trainees, the candidates should fulfill the following conditions:
- Educational Qualification: The candidates must hold a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.)/IDD degree from a recognized university or an institution.
- GATE Qualification: The candidates should have cleared the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper of GATE 2025.
- Age Limit: The candidates must be 28 years or less as of July 31, 2025, i.e., they must be born on or after August 1, 1997.
Selection Process
The candidate selection process will be multi-level and will go through the following phases:
- GATE 2025 EE Paper: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in this paper.
- Group Discussion (GD): The shortlisted candidates will be called for a GD.
- Personal Interview (PI): The candidates will be called for a personal interview based on the performance in earlier phases.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their candidate login accounts, where they will be able to download call letters and other documents. Besides this, candidates may be asked to appear for a Behavioral Assessment, which will assist in the selection process.
Pay Scale and Benefits
Shortlisted candidates will join the organization at the E2 level with the salary range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000 (IDA). Pay allowances and benefits for the candidature shall be given during the one-year On-The-Job Training (OJT) period. The Executive Trainees will get regularized in the same E2 level salary range after satisfactory completion of training. Notably, the training duration can be extended subject to individual performance assessments or as per management discretion.
