Videos Of Men Walking In Front Of Tiger, Petting Cubs Surface From Ranthambore
Spotting of the wild cats is now a regular affair here, and the authorities have warned visitors to be careful.

Two men became potential prey at Rajasthan’s Ranthambore National Park recently, triggering alarm over official apathy at the country’s top tiger reserve. Two videos went viral separately in which a man was found to be playing with tiger cubs, while another was seen roaming freely only a few steps away from a large cat.
One clip featured a pair of tiger cubs lounging within a concrete pipe close to the Daulada Devpura dam area. A male was caught caressing one of the cubs within the pipe for several seconds before the clip came to an end.
Another clip featured a male walking through the national park while a tiger quenched itself at a watering point.
No officials were observed within the area.
Ranthambore has more than 70 tigers.
The big cats have become a regular sight in the region, and visitors have been warned by the authorities to remain vigilant.
A week ago, a seven-year-old boy, Kartik Suman, was dragged away by a tiger while his uncle and grandmother looked on in horror, after praying at a temple within the Ranthambore National Park. The grandmother of the boy told how she had been walking with her grandson when the tiger sprang out of the undergrowth, grabbed the child by biting his neck, and pulled him into the bushes.
A tigress, which was suspected of becoming a man-eater, was trapped from within a hotel in Ranthambore earlier this week. The large cat was hiding behind a tourist cottage and was tranquilised. She was then let out into an enclosure within the national park.
