Ibrahim Ali Khan Reacts to Pakistani Critic’s Remarks on His Acting and Looks

Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan has usually kept the paparazzi engaged with his charming exchanges, causing a buzz surrounding his long-awaited acting debut. But when his debut film, *Nadaaniyan*, alongside Khushi Kapoor, was released on an OTT platform, the reception from the audience was divided. Although some fans found the attempt endearing, most were disappointed with what they saw as ‘rough-around-the-edges’ acting. Rumors also were directed at the voices of the actors, some people thinking that they had been dubbed. The film’s depiction of Noida also created an uproar among the audience.

Despite criticism, Pakistani film critic Tamur Iqbal posted his review on Instagram not only criticizing Ibrahim’s performance but also ridiculing his ‘huge nose.’ But in a shocking turnaround, Ibrahim himself reacted to the critic’s remarks.

Reports indicate that Ibrahim slid into Taimur Iqbal’s direct messages to confront him about the comments. Although the specifics of the conversation are not known, the exchange has caused a stir online. Some fans came to Ibrahim’s defense, saying personal attacks on an actor’s appearance were not needed, while others wondered if he should have interacted with the critic at all.

The controversy has added to the controversies regarding the reception of Nadaaniyan and pressure on star kids in the industry. Whether Ibrahim publicly addresses the controversy or not is to be seen, but his debut has indeed been a talking point beyond his acting.
