In a viral video on social media, Elvish is heard seeking to know from Ankita whether she is going to portray Alia Bhatt’s mother on screen now that she has “turned 40.”
The comment did not go down well with netizens, who soon trolled Elvish for what they felt was an ageist and disrespectful remark. Hashtags such as #ElvishYadavTrolled and #RespectAnkitaLokhande started trending as people showed their outrage.
