A celebratory party turned into a tragic one in Uttar Pradesh‘s Bareilly, as a 25th wedding anniversary celebration ended with the untimely and sudden death of a local businessman.
Wasim Sarwat, a 50-year-old shoe business owner, fainted and died of a heart attack dancing during his silver jubilee anniversary party on Tuesday night. The big bash, which was organized at a banquet hall on the Pilibhit bypass road, had family, friends, and well-wishers in attendance.
The family, Wasim and his wife Farah, had sent out formal invitation cards prior to the celebration. Wearing traditional clothing, the family was spotted dancing and celebrating in videos that have since emerged online.
Sadly, during a lively stage performance, Wasim collapsed mid-dance while Farah and other members of his family watched in shock. Guests were left stunned as panic swept through the venue.
Wasim was quickly rushed to a local private hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival by doctors. The tragic incident sent the family and community into a state of profound mourning.
The evening that began with laughter and camaraderie ended in darkness and despair as Bareilly bid goodbye to a man on one of the best days of his life.
