India’s first 3D-printed villa in Pune blows up on the Internet: ‘Insane level of technology’

In his latest video on Instagram, Saraswat gives a tour of the 2,038-square-foot home, which was built with the latest 3D printing technology.

Content creator Priyam Saraswat, who is famous for visiting India’s most unusual homes, has surprised his viewers once again. This time, he posted an exclusive walkthrough of India’s first 3D-printed villa, which is situated in Pune.

In his recent Instagram video, Saraswat gives the audience a tour of the 2,038-square-foot house, which was built with the help of advanced 3D printing technology. The villa falls under the Godrej Eden Estate project at Maan Hinjewadi, Pune. Rolled out in June 2024, this architectural wonder was finished in four months.

What makes this home really revolutionary is that it wasn’t constructed the way a house would be—it was printed. The director of the project explained, “You have a very big printer that you install in this specific plot. That printer prints this villa.” The building was produced by layering a specially prepared mixture of concrete, which resulted in the walls having a characteristic textured look. The walls have a hollow area between two layers, making it simple to install ducts, pipes, and wiring.

Saraswat provides an insight into the villas spacious interiors, encompassing lavish living room and two bedrooms. Its sleek futuristic design and rounded smooth edges make it different from traditional houses.
