During the trailer launch function, AR Murugadoss narrated an incident of a surprise encounter with Salman Khan in Chennai.
The director further explained, “I was struggling as an AD (Assistant Director) years ago. So I wanted to see a shoot, so I approached Prasad Studios in Chennai. I asked the security guard to allow me in and watch me shoot. He allowed me on two conditions. You have to be in corner and you cannot talk to anyone. He gave me 20 minutes. I had to leave after that.”
He further added, “I went in. I don’t know what the shoot was. Full dark smoke, light comes, there is Sridevi. I was surprised. Then I see suddenly a hero’s backside. He is combing his hair. So, I was trying to see who the hero was. He was none other than Salman Sir.”
“I attempted to take one step ahead, and I noticed the guard watching me. He mentioned no. Therefore, I went out and believed one day I will be directing his movie. So, after so many years, I have directed the movie with him,” the director concluded.
