Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Ajay Devgn’s Movie Crosses Rs 30 Crore Mark
Raid 2 also includes Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial in important roles.

Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 starts with a bang at the box office. The second installment of the 2018 success Raid, helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, has raked in more than Rs 31 crore in two days. The movie made Rs 19.25 crore on Friday.
The release was helped by the half holiday on Labour Day and Maharashtra Day, and the popularity of the original film.
On Day 2 (Friday), the movie collected approximately Rs 11.50 crore, taking the total to Rs 31 crore in India, according to Sacnilk.
Sacnilk said that the film‘s average Hindi occupancy on Day 2 was 19.23%. Morning shows received 7.13% occupancy, which boosted to 16.08% in the evening. Evening shows accounted for 17.99% occupancy, while night shows reached 35.70%.
Seven years since the first film‘s release, Ajay is back as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. Here, he is pitted against Manohar Dhankar, alias Dada Manohar Bhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh.
Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial also play important roles in Raid 2.
In the original Raid movie, Ileana D’Cruz was the on-screen wife of Ajay Devgn. In Raid 2, though, she is replaced by Vaani Kapoor. Of course, there was fan curiosity about the transition.
Raid 2 is now clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Kesari: Chapter 2, which is performing reasonably well at the box office. Nani’s HIT: The Third Case hit screens too this week.
