Sweets: Sugar Scrub Exfoliant & Hydration Lock

Overindulging in sweets may not be good for your skin, but some of their ingredients, like milk and sugar, are excellent for topical skincare. By gently removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover, sugar functions as a natural exfoliant and scrub, exposing a healthier layer of skin beneath.
Ghee and milk, which are both high in good fats, are also ingredients in a lot of Indian desserts. They aid in moisturizing and softening the skin when applied externally, retaining moisture and repairing dry areas. An outstanding glowing skin mask can be created by combining leftover peda or rasgulla (without syrup) with milk cream to make a paste.
Use with caution and ensure no synthetic colors or preservatives are involved.
