The incident occurred close to the Radisson Hotel on Airport Road, where the police met the suspects. Senior officials have begun to arrive at the site to evaluate the situation.

Attack on Thakurdwara Temple

The grenade attack was carried out around Friday midnight, and the Thakurdwara Temple was the target. Luckily, the temple priest, who was resting within the temple at the time, remained unharmed.

Police report that the CCTV video captured two attackers arriving on a motorbike. The suspects walked past with a flag in their possession and halted at the exterior of the temple before tossing an explosive device, looking like a bomb, on to the complex at about 12:35 AM. Minutes later, an explosion hit the temple after the suspects left.
