João Neves Strikes in Stoppage Time to Lift PSG Back to the Top of Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain beat Lyon 3-2 in a nail-biting finish, while Strasbourg surprised Lille to move up the table.

Neves’ Late Heroics Rescue PSG
Paris Saint-Germain returned to the top of Ligue 1 in dramatic style on Sunday as a stoppage-time header from João Neves sealed a 3-2 victory over Lyon.
The defending champions seemed to have lost their grip on the match after Lyon fought back twice, but Neves’ last-gasp goal in the 95th minute ensured PSG walked away with all three points and a two-point lead over Marseille.
Lyon had struck first through Warren Zaire-Emery midway through the first half. PSG hit back almost immediately to take control, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia finding the net after a heated on-field clash. Despite Lyon’s spirited response and a late red card for PSG’s Nicolás Tagliafico, Neves rose above the defence to nod home the winner in the dying moments.
In another Ligue 1 match, Strasbourg secured a good 2-0 win over Lille, courtesy of a brace from Emanuel Emegha, which were his first goals back from injury. The result sees Strasbourg rise to fourth, while Lille drops below them into fifth.
This incredible win by PSG marks a strong comeback after their Champions League disappointment in midweek, and reassures their intention to dominate domestically once again.
