Tata Sierra SUV: Features and Highlights Explained Variant-Wise
Tata has reintroduced the Sierra starting at ₹11.49 lakh, offering seven variants with progressively advanced features

Engine Options and Performance
Powering Tata’s revived Sierra SUV are three engine options: a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel; a 1.5-litre TGDi Hyperion turbo-petrol; and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol. The diesel unit produces up to 118 PS, while the torque output varies between 260 Nm and 280 Nm, based on the transmission. The petrol engine makes 106 PS and 145 Nm and comes with the option of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT. That provides a good amount of options for buyers depending on performance and driving requirements.
Features in the Base Smart Plus Variant
The entry-level Smart Plus is surprisingly well loaded for its price. The list comprises bi-LED projector headlights, six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and electronic parking brake with auto hold. Other convenience features include electric tailgate release, power-adjustable ORVMs, rear sunshade, and power windows on all doors. Practicality is further augmented with the addition of ISOFIX mounts and a puncture repair kit for added safety.
Upgraded Features in Higher Variants
As the variants progress, each trim adds technology, comfort, and safety. The Pure variant gets a larger touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and cruise control. Pure Plus gets the addition of the panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and rain-sensing wipers. Adventure trims get 360-degree cameras, LED fog lamps, and premium cabin touches. The Accomplished series tops it all off with Level-2 ADAS, a 12-speaker JBL system, HUD display, and in the Accomplished Plus, triple-screen setup, and gesture-controlled powered tailgate.
