ICAI Declares 2025 CA Results: 11,466 Candidates Qualify Across All Levels

6,563 of the 47,707 female candidates who took the test passed, yielding a 13.76 percent pass rate.

The results of the September 2025 Chartered Accountancy Final, Intermediate, and Foundation exams have been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This year, 11,466 applicants have been approved to become chartered accountants.

Mukund Agiwal from Dhamnod, Madhya Pradesh, placed first in the CA Final exam with 83.33% of the possible points. Neha Khanwani of Jaipur, Rajasthan, topped the CA Intermediate with a score of 84.17% (505 out of 600). Chennai resident L. Rajalaxmi scored 90% (360 out of 400) in the Foundation exam.
The CA Final pass percentage for both groups was 16.23% overall. Group II’s success rate was 25.26%, whilst Group I’s was 24.66%. Group I scored 8.43% on the Intermediate exam, Group II scored 27.14%, and the overall score for both groups was 10.06%.

There were 47,707 female candidates and 51,120 male candidates in the Foundation course. The pass rate was 13.76% for women and 15.74% for men.

September 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 were the dates of the final examinations; September 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15 were the dates of the intermediate exams; and September 16, 18, 20, and 22 were the dates of the foundation exams.

With only a small percentage of candidates passing every level, the ICAI results demonstrate how difficult the CA exams are. In one of the most challenging professional courses in India, the top performers have raised the bar for excellence.
