New Zealand Crush West Indies by Eight Wickets to Wrap Up T20I Series
A strong bowling performance, followed by a fluent chase, led New Zealand to seal the five-match T20I series 3-1 at University Oval, Dunedin

Dominant Kiwis Finish in Style
New Zealand finished their home T20I series against the West Indies in style, cantering to an eight-wicket win in the fifth and final match at Dunedin. It was a performance of all-round brilliance for the hosts, who first blew away the West Indies batting before chasing down a modest target with glee.
Batting first, the visitors never found their rhythm as New Zealand’s bowlers kept striking at regular intervals to restrict them to just 140 runs in 18.4 overs. Tight lines, sharp fielding, and clever variations ensured the West Indies never got going despite flashes of aggression in the middle order.
In response, New Zealand’s top order made light work of the chase. The openers gave a brisk start at the top before the middle-order calmly guided the team home with over two overs to spare, finishing at 141/2 in 15.4 overs.
This win meant New Zealand took the series 3-1 and further cemented their reputation at home. The West Indies, however, left New Zealand still in search of consistency that eluded them throughout critical junctures of this series.
