Stunning 144 Off 42 Balls by Vaibhav Suryavanshi Powers India A to Crushing Win Over UAE

This 14-year-old genius smashes 15 sixes to race to a 32-ball century, and a few T20 records in a sensational Asia Cup Rising Stars performance

Young Talent, Big Impact

Youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a rising star from India A, made a terrific display of power-hitting in the Asia Cup Rising Stars match against the United Arab Emirates, scoring 144 runs off 42 balls. At just 14 years old, he tore apart the opposition bowling with remarkable ease, slamming 15 towering sixes and 11 fours. The team’s innings helped India A amass 297/4 in 20 overs, one of the biggest totals at this level.

Suryavanshi reached his century in just 32 deliveries to join the ranks of India’s fastest T20 century-makers. Above all, it was an innings of fearless strokeplay, exceptional timing, and finding the boundary at will that made it one of the finest individual performances in youth T20 cricket.

Inspiring many with his humility despite his explosive knock, Suryavanshi would later say that he would rate his innings “75 out of 100,” showing the mindset of a grounded and focused young athlete.

The UAE struggled in their chase for the overwhelming target, getting bowled out for 149 as India A registered a commanding 148-run victory. Suryavanshi’s innings saw a set of new records, but it also marked the arrival of a promising future star into Indian cricket.
