Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2026: First Allotment List Released Today, Thousands of Students Await College Confirmation

Class 11 admission process enters a crucial phase as students across Maharashtra check their allotted junior colleges and prepare for admission confirmation.

Mumbai, May 29, 2026 : The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department has officially released the First Year Junior College (FYJC) Round 1 allotment list today, marking an important milestone for lakhs of students seeking admission to Class 11 across the state. Students can now check their allotted colleges through the official FYJC admission portal and begin the admission confirmation process.

The centralized admission process (CAP) covers admissions to Arts, Commerce, and Science streams in junior colleges across Maharashtra. Students who have secured seats in their preferred colleges are required to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed timeline. Education authorities have advised students and parents to carefully verify their allotment details and submit the necessary documents before the deadline.

According to the revised admission schedule, the allotment list was published on May 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Students who receive a seat allotment can proceed with admission confirmation between May 29 and June 3, 2026. Those who fail to confirm their admission within the given period may lose their allotted seat and eligibility in subsequent rounds.

This year’s admission process has attracted significant attention due to earlier technical issues experienced on the portal during registration and preference filling. The Education Department extended deadlines and implemented measures to ensure that students were not adversely affected by website glitches.

Education experts advise students to download their allotment letter, verify all personal details, and keep required documents such as SSC marksheets, school leaving certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and passport-sized photographs ready for verification. Students who are not satisfied with their allotted college can explore options available in subsequent admission rounds, depending on seat availability.

With lakhs of students competing for seats in reputed junior colleges across Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, and other cities, today’s allotment list is expected to shape the academic future of many aspiring students across Maharashtra.
