Bollywood singer and actor Sunny Deol launched the first song of his upcoming movie ‘Border 2’ at Tanot – Longewala, situated in the Jaisalmer district. The song is named ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, which is the revamped version of the famous song ‘Sandese Aate Hai’. This song was launched near the Indian-Pakistan border. There were BSF jawans, Indian Army soldiers, and some actors present at the event.

Sunny Deol was deeply emotional during the launch. He talked about his lifelong emotional connection with the Indian army and shared his personal experiences with them. He was moved by the realization that some jawans had been influenced by his films and joined the army, and he was overwhelmed by it.

Deol even added a nostalgic element to his performance by delivering a famous dialogue question, inquiring about the extent to which his voice has to travel before responding to his own question, “all the way to Lahore.” The audience erupted in laughter and nationalistic slogans. This dialogue reinforced the film’s message about the bravery and sacrifices exhibited by the soldiers on the border.

The ceremony was also attended by actors Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, as well as singer Sonu Nigam, who sang for this song. This meeting easily turned out to be the tribute to the spirit and legacy of India as well as the movie Border. Border 2 is set to be released on January 23, 2026.
