Television personality Arjun Bijlani appears to be devastated at the last rites of his father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami, who has expired aged 73 following a stroke. The shocking family loss occurred despite the fact that Swami had been hurried to a hospital in Mumbai after suffering the stroke. Swami did not survive.
The last rites of the departed soul took place at the Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai, with family members paying their last respects. Arjun, who was on New Year holiday vacations in Dubai with his wife Neha Swami and son, immediately returned home as soon as he heard about the tragedy.
A few videos have also made it to social networking sites, where Arjun can be seen breaking down, hugging his young son, fighting with his emotion of separating from the dear father. On the other hand, the pain of Neha Swami was also evident as she was captured crying in the visuals of walking along with her father on the last way.
The emotional scenes were a representation of the closeness of the family members and the effect of the sudden death, which happened unexpectedly. The members of the television fraternity and friends were said to have condoled with Arjun and Neha as they went through one of the toughest stages of their lives.
