Veteran film director Rob Reiner and his wife, actress Michelle Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Los Angeles residence on Sunday in a murder case under investigation by the relevant authorities. The authorities were called to a residence in a suburb called Brentwood in the afternoon in response to a distress call but found both deceased inside the house. Preliminary indications were of violence, making it a murder case.

Reiner is, in fact, the owner of this residence, which authorities have now confirmed, with unofficial reports stating the cause of death is not natural.
As reported in a source with knowledge of the case, a relative of this couple found them, thus bringing a heightened level of emotional distress to this event. Although there have been assumptions related to a suspect in this tragedy, authorities have not placed any names related to a suspect or their reasons for this attack into official record.
