Parents demand that Al-Falah University VC clarify students’ academic future
Families concerned about safety seek written assurances on recognition and continuity of education after recent probe developments

Parents fear uncertainty may disrupt medical studies
Following the recent, consecutive investigations with regards to Al-Falah University, a delegation of approximately 18 parents of MBBS students came to the Faridabad campus to show deep concern for their children’s future in academics. The parents presented a detailed letter to the Vice-Chancellor, demanding immediate clarity and reassurance that their children’s education would not be affected by the situation. They said that the students were not involved in the alleged activities under probe, yet they were facing the risk of academic fallout for no fault of their own.
Their main concern is the threat of withdrawal of recognition by the NMC, along with the recent suspension of the university by AIU. Families are apprehensive that these decisions might impact degrees, clinical postings, examinations, and future career prospects. They sought an official written assurance on continuity of classes, hospital training, schedule of exams, and validity of qualifications to be awarded by the institution.
A senior faculty member mingled with the visiting parents and gave an oral assurance that the university would continue uninterrupted. Parents also said students who are still staying on campus are safe and continued their academic activities as usual, and none of them were involved in the case under investigation.
These concerns have now heightened after AIU suspended the membership of Al-Falah University, along with an issuance of a show-cause notice by NAAC for misrepresentation of its accreditation status. The letter by parents underlines the need for clarity and categorical assurances to avoid such uncertainty for students at a critical phase of their education.
